Description
After you receive your Indicative Results and decide to proceed with 2X Certification, you will select your third-party verifier.
Once you select your third-party verifier on Equilo's platform (e.g., Sagana, Value for Women, or PWC), you will be connected with them via email to finalize the payment process directly.
Afterward, the Third-Party Verifier will arrange a kickoff meeting and guide you through the next steps.
1) What will I have access to?
Once you select your third-party verifier and pay for your organization's verification process, you'll be able to:
- Access your detailed results
- Download your CSV Data
- Access the 2X Certification Verification process, and route your organization toward the possibility of getting 2X Certified! Check the benefits in our article Why should I get 2X Certified?
- Be assigned a dedicated verifier who will specialize in your case and maintain constant communication with you throughout the entire process.
2) What is included in Equilo's optional "Level Up" Package?
- Equilo's Level Up package automatically reviews your documentation and ensures you have the correct evidence uploaded to streamline your verification process and increase your chances of success.

3) What's next? Verification process and issuance of the 2X Certification
1️⃣ Once you pay for your entity's third-party verification process, you'll be requested to submit your entity's documentation to the platform for your verifier to review.

2️⃣ You will be assigned a dedicated verifier by the Third-Party Verification provider you selected, who will thoroughly review your uploaded documentation. The verifier will maintain regular communication with you, request additional information, and provide clarifications as needed.
- ⚠️ The verifier has access to your original answers and can make edits to your responses based on the verified evidence. The verification report will highlight all modifications made.
- ⚠️ Your indicative results may be adjusted based on the verification report.

1. Preliminary Assessment: The Third-Party Verifier you selected will review the information your organization submitted in the 2X Self-Assessment to evaluate its alignment with the 2X Criteria and assess your entity's potential 2X Certification level.

2. Review/Clarifications: In the event that your verifier requires additional information following their preliminary assessment, they'll reach out to you over email. If needed, they may request a call to discuss your assessment responses and/or other submitted documents.

3. Final Verification: Post any necessary clarifications, the Third-Party Verifier will conduct a final review of your assessment and supporting documents to verify alignment with the 2X Criteria and your entity's 2X Certification level.

3️⃣ Once the verification process is completed, you'll receive a confirmation email. Simultaneously, the verification report is sent to 2X Global for their review.
- ⚠️ Once the third-party verifier submits their verification report to the 2X Certification Body, no further changes can be made by your entity.
- Once the 2X Certification Body has reviewed and approved the verification report, a 2X Certificate may be issued through the 2X Certification Platform.
4) 2X Certificate Awarded 🥳 🎖️
Following the issuance of your 2X Certificate, you'll receive a notification within your 2x Certification platform and an email with access to your certification results!
You will also receive:
- 2X Certification Seal: Display your seal on websites, social media, and marketing materials.
- 2X Scorecard: Publicly share your certified Dimensions and Themes on the 2X Global Certification List.
- 3rd-Party Verified: Highlight your verifier’s credentials and 2X Global training status.
- 2-Year Validity: Certification lasts 2 years, with recertification required to stay certified.
